Dr Kim Vercruysse is advisor at Join For Water, a Belgian NGO working on the protection of freshwater resources. Previously, she was a research fellow at Cranfield University (UK) and University of Leeds (UK), where she worked on projects focussing on human-environment interactions in the land-river interface, and she has expertise in geography, integrated (urban) water management, and geomorphology.
