We were very grateful we got the opportunity to attend and speech at the Water & Humanity Global Forum in Oman last month.
We got to speak about the concept of Wavemakers United: inspire youth worldwide to work together on finding solutions to realize the climate goals, all with positive energy! We explained the unique approach of using water, education and sports as connection. A great approach which can make contribute that Water becomes an asset for Humanity.
Amira Al Ghareebi, Omani Wavemaker, completed the presentation with a speech about our collaboration and the projects in Oman. We are beyond excited Wavemakers United has a successful program running in Oman and we can’t wait to make sure many other regions will follow the example the Omani are setting for us!
The Dutch Embassy in Oman has been very helpful to build our community further in Oman. Embassador Stella Kloth opened her residence for a great workshop for all the participating youth organizations.
The Global Forum gave us a great opportunity to connect with so many inspiring people, all with a passion for water. We are very keen to collaborate, strengthen each other and make waves together.
